“I believe that a strong startup ecosystem is vital to our local economy.  I view myself as a member of each company we advise, treating every challenge as my own and taking pride in every success.”

Kate started her career at a large international firm, where her practice ranged from private equity finance to antitrust litigation.  Since then, Kate has encountered almost every business issue a company will face.  She has experience with employment law, contracts, securities, government regulation, patents and copyright law, to name a few.  Having spent several years advising federal judges and private clients in litigation matters, Kate knows what issues will land you in litigation, how to handle them and, most importantly, how to avoid them.

Kate now applies her broad range of knowledge to her true passion: startups and small businesses.  She believes in listening to clients, offering practical advice that fosters growth, and strategically planning to protect that growth in the future.
